About Me

Nice to Meet You

Hi, I’m Megan.  I’m so glad you found me and are interested in seeing examples of some of my work.

I am a strategic communications consultant, digital storyteller and voice narrator.

Simply put, I write, produce and voice stories.

I’m also the Founder, Producer and Host of A|DECIBELvoices, a podcast that brings you up close and personal with Asian American trailblazers.

For more information visit adecibel.com.

Over the course of my communications career, I find myself drawn to mission-driven work. I’ve had the immense privilege of championing issues of diversity, equity and inclusion and producing mini-documentaries in support of issues like food insecurity and mental health awareness.  In addition, I completed a Fellowship around the use of comedy for social impact with the Center for Media & Social Impact (CMSI), a Washington, D.C. innovation lab and research center that creates, studies and showcases media for social impact. My published articles can be found on medium.com.

Education

I hold a Masters in Journalism and Digital Storytelling from American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

And, I continually train as a voice over professional at Edge Studio in Manhattan, New York with the renowned voice coach, David Goldberg and Danielle Quisenberry.

I look forward to collaborating and if I can answer any questions, please reach out.
